How to do it

  1. Select the messages

    Open SELECT and tick the messages you want, or keep the default of All.

  2. Click the copy icon

    Choose Markdown, text, JSON, CSV or rich text.

  3. Paste

    Paste into Google Docs, Word, Notion or any other app.

Questions about this export

Which format should I pick for Google Docs?

Rich text. It pastes with headings, lists and tables intact.

Does copying send my chat anywhere?

No. The text goes from the page to your clipboard on your computer. That is why the extension asks for the clipboardWrite permission.

Can I copy only my questions?

Yes. Use the Questions preset in the SELECT panel, then copy.
